BareBurger Beverage Guide
There’s nothing like a good beer to go along with a great hamburger. It’s a powerful and timeless combination. With so many varieties of beer available these days however, choosing a beer to complement your meal can be a bit of a challenge. As ever, the same goes for wine.
We want your meal at BareBurger™ to be a complete, immersive and satisfying dining experience. To that end we offer the following guidelines and information to assist with your beverage selection(s) at BareBurger™ and beyond.
*Note that taste is entirely subjective so feel free to experiment beyond any suggestions made here.
First some basic guidelines suggested by experts:
- Ales/Red wine with red meat. Lagers/White wine with poultry.
- Hoppier beer = Higher acidity in wine (best with spicy and rich foods).
- Complement food with beer characteristics (i.e. heavier beers with robust dishes, and light beers with lighter meals). Try contrasting flavors as well.
- Keep sweet with sweet and tart with tart
